Even in the renowned robust wine region of Listrac, Ducluzeau is still recognized as a wine full of feminine charm. Perhaps it's because the estate has been predominantly passed down from mother to daughter since its inception, or maybe it's because the estate uses a high proportion of Merlot grapes in winemaking. Its elegant style is accompanied by rich oak aromas, abundant with flavors of blackberries, blackcurrants, and fresh youthful fruitiness. With a medium to full-bodied structure, moderate tannins, and a lingering finish characterized by creamy notes, it leaves a memorable impression.

Holding the esteemed classification of Cru Bourgeois, just below its sister label La Croix de Beaucaillou, Ducluzeau offers exceptional value for its quality.

The vineyard's terroir, characterized by gravel, stones, and clay with silica, hosts Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vines averaging 45 years in age. Employing traditional vineyard management techniques, including leaf thinning and yield reduction during the summer months, the estate aims to enhance fruit concentration and mouthfeel. Harvesting is meticulously carried out by hand, with grapes meticulously sorted on-site to ensure only the finest fruit is selected. Following fermentation at low temperatures, the wine undergoes maturation in 20% new oak barrels for 12 months, adhering to rigorous quality standards.
