Les Forts de Latour is the second wine of Château Latour, and made from a significant amount of old-vine Cuvee.

The 2000 vintage impresses as a seriously endowed wine, boasting pronounced notes of black walnuts, black currants, crushed rock, tobacco, and spice box. This long-lived vintage, now entering its peak drinking window, exhibits richness and complexity.

A true pleasure to the palate, it still holds the potential to further develop and age gracefully for a few more years, enhancing its already rich taste. An exquisite wine not to be missed.

About the Producer

Château Latour is located in the heart of the Medoc wine region, about 50km north-west of Bordeaux, where the legend of the vineyeards of Bordeaux began. The Château's primer terroir, l'Enclos, overlooks the Gironde estuary: it is the river and the ocean that, over the centuries, have given the vineyard its geological complexity and, on a daily basis, ensure a mild climate.
