The wine style is dominated by rich fruit aromas! It exhibits a deep purple-red hue with intense fresh fruit aromas. The fragrance is rich, and the palate is full-bodied, showcasing a harmonious blend of forest fruits and enticing spices. On the palate, flavors of plum, blackcurrant, and cherry jam combine seamlessly with the mineral notes from the clayey rocky soil. The wine is well-balanced, full-bodied, with soft tannins, juicy, and incredibly impressive!

About the Producer

The Saint-Emillion vineyard, overlooking the Dordogne valley, is one of the most charming villages in Bordeaux and one of the best known in the world. There are a lot of properties of great diversity there. Château Monté Christo is the property of Jean-Pierre Compin. Jean-Pierre is the son of Berry farmers. He completed his studies in agronomy in Montpellier before coming to Bordeaux in 1968. He will quickly make a place for himself in the industry, because he helps many winegrowers. He advises them on the best techniques for using products, especially on phytosanitary products, which are his specialty. One day he decided to do it himself and bought the magnificent Château Monté Christo. Its name comes from the place where the property is located.
