This is another sleeper from the back waters of Bordeaux, where some surprisingly good wines can be made, and consumers need to be aware of them. This property has been on a nice qualitative roll for a while, and this well-made 2013 exhibits saturated color and sweet blackcurrant and black cherry fruit with hints of cedar wood and incense. About the Producer

The Petit Sénéjac, second wine of this highly prized estate Château Sénéjac, is one of the well known Crus Bourgeois since being part of this Médoc classification in 1932. Vines have an average age of about 35 years old.

Winemaking is carried out by Alfred Tesseron`s wine-making team from Pontet-Canet, with fermentation in stainless steel vats and gentle extraction of colour, tannin and aromatics. Wines are aged in 30% French oak for 12-14 months.
