Harvested from 50-year-old vines, the Grand Vin De Chateau Bel-Air 2017 is aged for 24 months in 100% French oak barrels. It boasts a deep ruby-red color with hints of purple shimmering at the edges. The nose is redolent with refreshing aromas of strawberries, raspberries, and red currants, complemented by subtle hints of dried plums and cherries. On the palate, alongside the luscious fruit flavors, you'll discover notes of rose petals, cedar, dark chocolate, and minerals. The texture is luxuriously smooth, with balanced acidity and velvety tannins, resulting in an impeccably structured wine with a lingering, subtly sweet finish. It is a truly exceptional fine wine.

About the Producer

Chateau Bel-Air, located in the estate of Quinsac in the Gironde department, boasts a unique terroir. Since 2014, the estate has been converted to organic agriculture and is 100% handcrafted. The Bel-Air estate was built between 1700-1720. It was purchased by the family of the wine owner 123 years ago in 1898, which is the Borie family of Château Ducru-Beaucaillou. The current owner's grandfather, Mr. Eugene Borie, was born in the Bel-Air castle in 1921. He devoted his life to the renowned second growth estate, Château Ducru-Beaucaillou.
