The 2012 Cristal by Louis Roederer marks a new era — the first vintage from fully biodynamic vineyards. On the nose, it’s layered and expressive, with aromas of clear honey, white peach, green orchard fruit, dried flowers, and pastry cream. The palate is concentrated and chalky, with a full-bodied structure that’s both powerful and precise. Compared to the 2008, this vintage shows broader texture and greater dry extract, with no malolactic fermentation
