This Penfolds Grange Bin 95 2009 presents a deep garnet-purple color. It presents a vivid expression of blackberry preserve aromas, intertwined with underlying notes of cassis, black cherry, spice box, char-grilled meat, and chocolate. Surprisingly, though it exudes a fuller aroma, its medium to full-bodied nature reveals taut flavors that remain tightly wound on the palate. Structured by firm, chewy tannins, it leads to a long, earthy finish.

Suitable to drink now, yet it still hold excellent potential for further aging.
