Excellent Wine from Lalande-de-Pomerol.

Presenting a medium garnet hue, this wine offers enticing aromas of ripe dark fruit intertwined with subtle oak notes on the nose. On the palate, it delivers a rich and intensely ripe experience, showcasing flavors of plummy fruit complemented by well-balanced acidity and tannins. Currently, it is entering its prime drinking window, the wine culminates in a long and expressive finish, indicating its excellent quality.

About the Producer

The vineyard of Château Garraud is located on a variety of rich terroirs: gravel, clay-gravel, deep clay with ‘crasse de fer’ and clay-sand, high on the Pomerol plateau. The Château Garraud vineyard was planted in the early middle of the 19th century by the Count de Kermartin. Léon Nony purchased it at the end of the 1930s and proceeded to renovate and extend it.
