About the Producer

The owners of Chateau Les Ormes Sorbet, the Boivert family have a long history in the region that dates back longer than their estate. In fact, the Boivert family can trace their family heritage all the way back to 1764, before the French Revolution.

In 1862, under the direction of Eugene Boivert, Chateau Les Ormes Sorbet became one of the first Bordeaux estates to bottle and sell their own wine. The property still remains in the hands of the same family, through direct descendants. Today, the vineyard is managed by Helene Boivert, Vincent Boivert, and Francois Boivert.
